What is lead reactivation?

Lead reactivation is the work of contacting old leads that went cold, such as past inquiries, lost deals or expired quotes, to find the ones that are ready to buy now. It turns a CRM full of records you already paid for into new pipeline without new ad spend.

Most lists have a long tail that never got more than one or two call attempts. Situations change: the budget shows up, the contract renews, the competitor disappoints. A reactivation campaign works through that tail with a short, specific reason to call, re-qualifies whoever answers and routes the interested ones to sales.

Before calling, check consent and Do Not Call status again. Old records are where expired consent, reassigned numbers and opt-outs pile up, and a reactivation campaign is a common source of TCPA complaints when that step is skipped.
