01
Web quote forms
The agent dials the moment a quote form lands, confirms the coverage asked for and keeps the shopper talking while their interest is fresh.
02
Shared aggregator leads
Leads sold to several agencies at once get called in seconds, so your producer is the first voice the shopper hears, not the fourth.
03
Rating basics captured
Current carrier, x-date, drivers and vehicles or property details are gathered on the call, so the producer can run the rater without phoning back.
04
Warm producer transfer
Ready buyers go live to a licensed producer with a summary attached. If nobody is free, the agent books a time on the producer's calendar.

Insurance shoppers compare quotes, and the first call usually wins
A personal lines shopper rarely fills out one form. They hit a comparison site, enter the same car and the same address, and their phone starts ringing from several agencies inside the hour. Aggregator and shared leads work the same way: you paid for a name that three competitors also bought. The agency that reaches the shopper first gets to ask the questions, frame the coverage and earn the right to quote. The agency that calls back after lunch gets voicemail, or a polite note that they already went with someone else.
The producers are not the problem. They are on the phone working renewals, building a commercial submission or walking a client through a claim. A web lead that arrives at 6:40pm, or during a Saturday soccer game, waits until someone can get to it. CSRs can help, but they cannot quote, and a long intake asked by the wrong person wears out the shopper's patience. What the agency needs is a fast first call that gathers the basics and gets a licensed producer on the line while the shopper still cares.
How Harmony.ai works a quote request from submit to producer
The quote form or lead feed triggers the call in seconds, day or night. The agent opens with the greeting you approve, never claims to be human, confirms the shopper asked for a quote and checks which lines they want: auto, home, renters, umbrella or a bundle. Then it works through your intake script in plain conversation. Who is the current carrier, and when does that policy renew? How many drivers and vehicles, and any recent tickets or claims? For a home quote, the year built, roof age and whether there is a mortgage on the property.
Answers are checked against the qualification rules you set, such as the states you write in, the lines you place or the carriers you can beat. A shopper who fits is warm-transferred to a licensed producer with a short summary on screen, so the producer opens with the quote instead of the questions. If every producer is busy, the agent books a slot and confirms it before hanging up. A shopper who asks about price or coverage hears that a licensed producer will cover that, and nothing is promised on the call.
What lands in your AMS or CRM after every quote call
Each call writes a structured record to your agency management system or CRM, so producers work from the screen they already use. Fields include lines of coverage requested, current carrier, x-date, drivers and vehicles or property details, prior claims the shopper mentioned, consent status and the outcome: transferred, booked, not qualified or no answer. The recording, transcript and summary attach to the same record. We don't ship a fixed connector catalog; Harmony.ai plugs into your AMS, your rater and your phones over their APIs, and we write whatever integration your agency is missing.
Producer licensing and consent on insurance quote calls
State producer licensing laws modeled on the NAIC Producer Licensing Model Act require a license to sell, solicit or negotiate insurance. So the agent gathers facts and routes the shopper, while your licensed producers quote, advise and bind. It never says it is licensed and never presents itself as a person.
Telemarketing calls made with an artificial or prerecorded voice need the called party's prior express written consent. Since the FCC's February 2024 ruling, AI-generated voices count as artificial voices under the TCPA. Your compliance team writes the consent language on your quote forms and sets the rules, the agent checks consent before it dials, and each call is recorded and logged for audit. This is not legal advice.

Frequently asked questions
No. The agent collects the information a producer needs to rate the risk, then hands the shopper to a licensed producer for the quote. It does not quote rates, recommend limits or bind a policy, and it says so plainly if the shopper asks.
Yes. Any lead source that can send a record by API can trigger the call, whether that is your website, a comparison site or a purchased lead feed. Each source can carry its own script and its own qualification rules.
When the shopper meets your rules, the agent warm-transfers the live call to an available licensed producer and passes along what it collected. If no producer is free, it books a time on their calendar. The transcript and fields go to your agency management system, so nobody asks the same questions twice.
Telemarketing calls in an artificial voice, which now includes AI voices, need prior express written consent. Your counsel decides the exact wording on your quote forms and in your lead-vendor agreements. Harmony.ai checks for recorded consent, applies DNC suppression and calling windows, and logs every call.
