AI lead qualification for telecom providers
Pre-registrations, move-in lists and SMB prospects in newly passed areas only become installs once someone checks the address and the need. Harmony.ai calls them at any volume, confirms provider and requirements, and books the install or hands ready buyers to sales.

01
Pre-registration lists
Neighbors who signed up during construction get a call when their address goes live, with the plan they flagged and the first open install window.
02
Serviceability first
The agent checks the address against your serviceability data before pitching anything, so nobody is sold a plan their street cannot get yet.
03
Contract end dates
It asks who the household or business uses now and when that term ends, then schedules a follow-up near the end date for anyone locked in.
04
SMB voice and broadband
Small business prospects are asked about seat count, lines to port and uptime needs, then go to a business sales rep with the answers attached.

Newly passed homes go cold while the list sits in a spreadsheet
A fiber build is a timed window. Construction crews pass a neighborhood, the addresses flip to serviceable, and for a few weeks the people who pre-registered are as interested as they will ever be. Then the cable promo lands in the mailbox, a competitor's door hanger shows up, and the list your marketing team spent months building starts to decay. Few sales floors can call every new address in the week it goes live while also working inbound orders, so reps cherry-pick the newest sign-ups and the rest wait.
Move-in lists and business broadband prospects have the same problem. A family closing on a house next month needs service the day they arrive, and a dental office on a newly lit commercial strip wants to hear about static IPs and porting its main number before it signs anything. Those are different conversations with different questions, and a rep juggling both tends to ask too few of either. The result is installs booked at addresses that needed a site survey, and real buyers who never got a second call.
How the agent qualifies a household or business on a fiber list
Harmony.ai dials from the list you load, inside the calling windows you set, and opens with the reason for the call: service is now available at their address. It confirms the street address and unit, checks it against your serviceability data, and only then talks plans. Next it asks who they use today, whether they are in a contract and when it ends, and how they use the connection, whether that is remote work, gaming, or a storefront running card terminals. The answers decide which path your sales team defined comes next.
A qualified household is offered open install slots from your scheduling system and books one on the call. A business prospect, or anyone asking about multi-line voice, number porting or a custom quote, is warm-transferred to a business sales rep with the answers already on screen, or booked for a callback if nobody is free. Someone two years into a contract gets a dated follow-up instead of a hard sell. The agent runs on our own models, built for the phone, and takes as many of these calls at once as your list needs.
What lands in your CRM and BSS/OSS after each call
Every call writes a structured record back to your CRM and, where you want it, your BSS/OSS: the address as confirmed, the serviceability result, current provider, contract end date, household or business, the plan discussed, the install slot booked or the rep who took the transfer, any number-porting request, and the full transcript and recording. Harmony.ai connects through your systems' APIs and we build the integration your stack needs, so field and sales teams see the facts the prospect gave.
Consent, CPNI and the broadband label on qualification calls
Calls placed with an AI voice count as artificial-voice calls under the TCPA, per the FCC's February 2024 ruling. Telemarketing calls with an artificial voice to wireless numbers and residential lines need prior express written consent, so the agent only dials records your team has marked as consented. Your compliance team sets the consent rules and calling windows, the agent enforces them on every call, and every call is recorded and logged for audit.
If the agent takes an order, the FCC broadband consumer label has to be available at the point of sale, and the rule counts sales over the phone. The agent points the buyer to your label for that plan before the order closes. When a list includes existing subscribers, the agent runs your authentication steps before mentioning anything from their account, the same standard carriers must meet before disclosing CPNI on customer-initiated calls. This is not legal advice.

Frequently asked questions
Yes, as long as your serviceability data is reachable through an API or lookup. The agent confirms the address and unit on the call, checks it, and only offers plans that address can get. Addresses that need a survey or sit outside the build are logged with the reason so your team can follow up.
The agent warm-transfers the call to a business sales rep with seat count, lines to port, current provider and contract end already on the record. If no rep is free, it books a callback on that rep's calendar. Custom business pricing and contract terms stay with your sales team.
AI voices are treated as artificial voices under the TCPA, so telemarketing calls to those numbers need prior express written consent. Many pre-registration forms collect it, and your counsel decides which records qualify. The agent dials only the records your rules allow, inside your calling windows, and logs every call.
It asks when the term ends, records the date, and schedules a call close to that date instead of pushing for a switch now. If you run a contract buyout offer, the agent explains it exactly as your approved script words it. Anything beyond the script goes to a sales rep.
